Hyperbole: My books felt like bricks in my back-pack.
Similes: He was as fast as a cheetah when running at track.
Oxymoron: The boy was found missing.
Metaphor: The witch was slier than a fox.
Personification: The mud was gripping to my shoe for dear
life.
Pun: That was punier than a pun.
Irony: The rock was softer than sandpaper, bark, and
charcoal.
